The 2006 season has been good to our Junior Team. Our boys brought home eight medals from State Championships; one junior attended USA Cycling's Regional Camp in Wisconsin, then competed at Tour de L'Abitibi in Quebec, Canada; four boys competed at Junior Nationals Road Championships; three boys traveled to Colorado for training.
Mike Braun has worked tirelessly with the team, organizing training rides, drilling them through skill-building exercises that improved their bike-handling and racing abilities, and provided leadership that has created a strong, cohesive team. Always on the hunt for new team members, the boys have participated in local "fun-club" rides, distributing information to junior-aged riders they pass along the way. The only thing this team needs is a few girl racers!
