Karl has been involved in competitve athletics for over 27 years. He began road racing in 1987 and later focused on off-road racing. After a mountain bike accident ended his off-road ambitions, Karl turned his attention back to road racing. Following the completion of the Graduate of Fine Arts program at Miami University (Ohio), Karl began teaching Sculpture and 3D Design at St. Louis Community College. Karl has been a professional bicycle mechanic since 1987. |
